Should the kid die?

So, i buy a truck that has been garaged its entire life, had only 132k on it and minor scratch here or there.
Sitting in the house and my nine year old thought to himself, self, i think i should throw my baseball bat at daddy's truck.
Now, i have two nice dents in the passenger side bed. One on flat surface that could be pulled maybe, the other is right on the body line where the green and white meet. The dent is minor but the ripple makes it look real bad.
I did not kill him....i am not happy but, i am so very bummed out.

Kids life's greatest mistake, err I mean joy , my daughter (1.5 years old) picked up a pole and walked rite into mine, put a nice scrape in the 250, used an orange crayons on my 350, and swang a big stick at the wife's truck, kids will be kids bro

One might say that! Wife was very proud of me as i can get hot tempered at stupid chit but, i simply looked at the truck and said, that is nice and came in the house to cry.

My son is nine and likes to practice batting in the front yard, he has a habit of letting the bat go.........rather he hit the coach then my truck.

As the father of 3 boys, just wait until they get to drive it and see what it looks like after that (Actually mine have been good, but the high school parking lot has not been kind to the vehicles). Good for you on not letting the diode flip! At least it was yours and not the neighbor's. Cheers!

Agreed good job not snapping
I am past those days now My 2 kids either have a vehicle or are working hard to buy one

they all know not to even think about opening Moms SUV doors near my truck and warn all their friends when Mom is carpooling them LOL

My last truck had just one small dent from my wife opening the door into a planter as She was dropping clothing off at Good Will ( Charity)

No good dead goes unpunished LOL

That kid would of had a SERIOUS *** warming. I don't mean getting yelled at, I mean pull the belt out and gave him 9 good Wacks. There is NO EXCUSE for that kind of behavior at that age. 2, yes, but 9, no F'n way!!!

I would do it to my neighbors kid it they did that to ANY of my trucks. If you let him off, THAT is the problem with americas youth these days, no accountability

I am not opposed to belting and he got his comings up more for lying to me that the damage but, he did get a little extra for the damage. His piggy bank is now empty as he paid all his money for the damage.
