2wd to new coil sd 4wd

Hey guys im going to go look at a 1994-1997 obs ford truck next week. its a crew cab 2wd f250/350. the dealer wont tell me nothing about it. It is a 2wd and If I buy it I will be converting it to 4wd. I got to thinking, since the 2wd has the coil setup, how hard would it be too put a newer coil sd axle under it? If everything would line up the job would be pretty simple one would think, but that's never the case unfortunately. I did a quick internet search but didn't come across a 4wd coil conversion. Hopefully somebody can help me out.
