jeep wrangler mirrors

Any body thought about using wrangler mirrors on their OBS? They are bigger than the stock big truck door mirrors, they come with turn signals, and they mount to the door.

hideous? funny, better than the hideous two or three point mirrors that come on the truck. The mirror itself is bigger than the two point mount mirror, and sticks out just as far.

It looks better than the retarded Dodge mirrors that people try to put on their OBS, and also way less hideous than the later model ford mirrors that people attempt to put on their trucks.

i don't want to loose my vent window, and i don't like any of the three options that the obs came with.

what do you suggest?

I went with nemo's on my f150 and f250, my f350 dually has the 4 post, I agree on the 2 post mirrors sucking, but do you have any piks of the mirror your talking about? Or a spare one around? Just set it on the door and take a pik, or have someone hold it and see if you like it from the inside, everyone has their own flavor, but jeep mirrors are not really my taste

here is a pic of the newer 07 up mirror

here is a pic of pre '97 mirrors... look at the mirrors on the Jeep... you do see the mirrors,,, don't you?

I think the pre '97 mirrors would work best. They attach to the door, so wouldn't interfere with the vent window.

But are meant for a vertical surface, our doors have a lean to them, I still think they are ugly lol, but cute hood ornament, those seem like a decent nemo replacement but as far as towing it seems like it would have the same issue

This pic is not of a stock 07+ mirror. I had an 07 wrangler and they did not have signals in them at all. I know the 2012 and newer Wrangler is available with power mirrors, but I don;t think they have signals in them either. Those are Rugged Ridge replacement mirrors, also, I didn;t care for the Wrangler mirrors, they were OK for something the size of a 2 dr wrangler, but on anything bigger, (even the 4dr) I didnt like them...
