dually conversion

I know to change from srw to drw you need to change the back axle for 8 lug but i want to put 10 lug wheels on so could i put a dodge 8 to 10 lug adapter on my single wheel axle to do the conversion?

If it has the same hub spacing, but the dually axle is also more narrow than the srw axle, if your truck isn't 8 lug already what are you driving?

I think he saying he has 8lug but wants 10lug for some reason, On my obs crewcab It has dodge adapters up front and had steel adapters on the rear. I tore up the rear and put a true drw axle on it after that. fenders can be bought for the rear but mine just had a drw bed installed instead.
