4" Lift I was told badd idea!!
on my wish list is a 4" lift. That would bring my P/U up about has high as the new one's. I thought it would look pretty good but not over bearing. A good buddy of mine said he heard that it caused problems with the steering and caused it to drift on the highway. Is any of this true?

Make sure you don't go the cheapest way out. Get the right springs and all the other extra parts you need. If the lift is installed correctly, it will not bother the steering. Make sure everything is tight and have an alignment done after it is installed. It is also a good idea on TTB trucks, to tack weld the pivot drop bracket in a couple places. Just make sure you can get to the welds to grind 'em off if you ever need to remove the lift.
