head lights
just bought a set of silverstar ultra lights,question is what do you use to clean the bulb off with if you touch it with your fingers,and how sencetive are they.the bulb rubbed the palm of my hand while trying to install it,would it be ok to wear latex gloves or will they also affect the bulb

it would be okay to wear gloves -- as far as cleaning them, i am not too sure what will clean them off (alcohol?)

Isopropyl alcohol will do just fine. They are halogen so they are sensitive to oil. I deal with halogens everyday. If you can get some rubber surgical style gloves that would be best, get them without powder, or wash them if they do. just have them dry before you use them. I have encountered problems with powered gloves. If you don't have gloves use a clean rag to make the swap. On my truck the LH lamp is the worst to change.

nothing is going to happen..I use to have a set of them and now I have Xenon HIDs and I have touched the bulbs before with my hands and they work just fine.
