OBS Wiper Arm and Blade not reaching windshield

I have a '97 F350 and the drivers side wiper only makes contact with the glass at either end and arcs about 1/4" off the glass in the middle. Any advice on how to remove the arm from attachment point / post? The spring seems to have equal tension as one on the pax side. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you.

On the arm, where it goes on the attachment point, you will see a small tab on the topside of the arm. With the arm lifted off the glass, pry the tab out from the arm and that will release it (with tab "out" the arm will remain in the "off the glass" position). When my 94's were doing the same as yours, I ordered new arms from Ford (they list for about $33.50 each, Tousley Ford Parts online has them for about $22 each), which solved the problem. Cheers!

Problem Solved

Thank you for the guidance. Turns out the issue was the tab. I thought it was inserted all the way but as I was pulling it out it didn't want to move much. As I lowered the blade, my brain engaged, and I saw it was restricting the wiper from "retracting" all the way. Pounded that tab all the way and perfecto! Many thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
