Complete body restoration

I'm doing a full body restoration this spring. I have new cab, doors, and fenders. Anyone have a dual tank long bed for sale? Anyways, does anybody recommend I do something to it while every body part is off? If you want to see current pics and how bad it is, look in my albums.

if you are going to have the bed off you might as well replace your fuel pickups in the tanks...it's much much easier to do when the bed is off.

Starting to realise that this will be very expensive... Starting to buy small stuff now. bill was $311 for nothing but door seals, door glass seals, and cab mount bushings.

A true restoration is far from cheap

Well I am still doing body work, almost done with the doors and tailgate. My fenders are perfect and havent even started the cab just yet. I want to have everything ready so that I can just swap over to minimize down time. I sandblasted one of my doors yesterday, and today I painted the entire lower half of it with POR-15. Of course, I managed to get it all over my arms in the last 2 minutes of painting. Doing one more coat of POR then sandblasting my other door, then por. Also, if I manage to get the money together, I am building my trans and doing headstuds so I can be ready for a bigger turbo down the road.
