HID

Hey guys

Is there a way to search things on this forum that have already been talked about? Because I know theres probably been a 1000 posts already on what im going to ask but I can't seem to find it. So even if you want to just direct me to an old forum thats fine.

Anyway the guy I baught the truck from installed HID's and when I first got the truck they were working like I think they should work. But in the last month they have gotten very dim. Actually my normal lights have to. Also they are only on when I put my high beems on. I'm not sure if thats normal or not.

Anyway I had bad batteries in the truck so I replaced those and it made no difference. Where should I start my troubleshooting? As of now I haven't even started to track anything down.

Oh and its not just my HID's when I turn on my regular headlights its the same thing.

I'm a bright light junky I bought a harness that had relays and hooked straight to the battery It took the load off the pull switch so the full 12v was going to the lights the pull switch just was used to activate the relays. I noticed a difference. But I took it off cause I went to hids and it came with a harness like I explained I can't remember the name if the company I got it from it was something injections
