door hinge pins

i just ordered a pin kit for my truck, because the old one wore out for the door hing and was wondering how do you get the pins out, so i can put the new ones and fix my saging door problem? "back up plan-
if all else fails i will have to cut then out with the trusty sawzal"
any lite on the subject would be help full

on the older vehicles you just took a punch and hammer and drove em out. But i haven't changed any on a newer vehicle.

when you hammer them out do you put alot of wd40 on them and then hammer them out?

if a little wd40's good then a lots goota be better Yea i'd spray emdown and let em soak and be sure to have somebody holdin on to the door when you knock those pins out

I just went and looked at my hinge and it doesn't look like you can knock them out. They have like a cap on both ends. The ones you could knock out usually had a point on the bottom. Have you got the kit already or waiting on it. Be sure you got new bushings to go with the pins.
