LED tail light info needed *please read and help out*

A friend of mine and I are working on an LED retrofit into stock housings for the OBS trucks. We tested the first light today before sealing it all back up to make sure it works...it didnt. We are running into a few issues. first we cannot find a 3157 bulb base that is pre wired. second when the LED board is plugged in we lose pretty much all light functions. We tried an LED decoder that works on newer vehicles to eliminate the bulb out warning, when that was wired in all the lights flashed...markers, clearance and the other taillight

So what I need from you guys is if you did any sort of LED in your taillight please tell me what worked/didnt work, what resistors you used, how they were wired, what resistance values they were. etc. I am very excited about this and if we can get a set working there may be a production run.

here is a little teaser video to give you some inspiration. Its a bench test so everything works correctly. the first part is a stop/tail,blink test. the second is an optional strobe module. there will also possibly be an LED reverse option ( i like my 55watt HID reverse lights )

I made these. Did you use any load resistors when you wired them up? You have to trick the truck into thinking it has a bulb in it or random things wont work lol

whered you get those lenses? next time i go to the garage to work on them were gonna try load resistors

I did led lights on my s10. I used some 10 watt 10-ohm resistors I got from radioshack (part# 271-0132) to get the turn signals to work properly.
