Wheel offset and backspace help??

Ok I have been reading about this all night and can't get a definative answer. I'm looking at wheel and tire size for a 97 F250 with a 4.5 RSK lift.

I'm thinking 35x12.5 tires would fit best. Now the wheels are a different story. I would like to stay in the 17" wheel diameter but options are limited. If I go 18s they price starts to jump quite a bit on tires and wheels... So maybe 16s but worry about the look. I was thinking about going with MT Classic with bead locks to keep a somewhat era correct look with a modern feel. They have them in 17x9 with and offset of "0" I would like them to sit about an inch or 2 past the wheel well. Now they also offer a 16x10 with a -12 offset so that should push the wheel out a little more. Any thoughts?

Also what kind of backspace do I need on this truck. I really never worried about this On past builds so I'm a little lost?

Thanks for the help guys and sorry for the new guy question.

Offset doesn't matter...4.5" BS is what you need, closer to 5" and tires will rub springs.

4.5" of lift is A LOT for a 35" tire.

Here is 2.25" of lift and 35s on white/blue
3" lift w35s on silver/maroon

Are those 35x12 on the blue and white one. They look wide. How do you like the pro comp tires?

Here is my 95 on 35's Toyo MT's with 17x9 Procomp's with the Sky kit I got from Cary on new SD springs. It's supposed to be a 4" lift but I think it's closer to 5".

Are you including the d60 swap into the lift as well? Because that will give you 2" right there

I gained a total of 5" of lift when I did my D60 swap AND 3" RSK
