Bug Deflector? Or not? Chrome...?

Well ever since I had my truck (7 years) it has had a bug deflector on it. Today at work I was bored and decided to remove it to check if the hood was scuffed up or rusted from it.
To my surprise it was really clean behind it. Only a layer of dirt.
Here are some pictures with and without it. I cant decide if I want to put it back on.

I was wondering if they make a chrome bug deflector for these trucks. I tried searching but cant find any installed on these trucks.
Also someone gave me a lund visor (not lights). I painted it to match. But cant decide to put that on either. I hate to fact of drilling holes in my cab even though I was going to use riv-nuts/poly-nuts.

I wouldn't do chrome personally. I liked my deflector, but it broke and never put it back on. I think it still looks good without it.

Another reason I took it off today was because I thought I broke it. Turns out a screw on the drivers side was missing.
I was driving to work. Going down a highway at 7 in the morning and a guinea hen flew across the highway and bounced off the top of my windshield.... I think lol. Well lets say it was laying in my bed. So I went to inspect any damage and I thought the shield got broke.

That low profile one looks nice. I think it would look great on my truck. Since i got rid of the plastic vent shields and went with the metal ones. I even mirrored my back window. But you don't see anyone with one...

Exactly the one I was talking about. I have never seen one on a truck either. Being you have the metal vent shades, that would probably look good. I wish they made chrome vent shades like they do for Super Duties, oh well.

Think im gonna go for it. I did a quick overlay with photoshop. The result is below. I need to order some stuff from lmc anyway. I will follow up in the thread when installed. But that might not be for a bit since the trucks going in for a tranny overhaul sometime this week i think.
