Warn Enforcer Winch Bumper

I have a 1996 F350 PSD with the WARN (Winch) Enforcer Bumper. I am in need of the the passenger side black bumper plastic end cap. Does anyone have one for sale, or has anyone come up with a good mod to replace these plastic end caps.

Thanks

I bought a used driver's side cap from a member here, but it's not in real good shape. I was wondering about fiberglassing over the top to fill in the broken part... not sure how it would hold up though.

Why not just use the one you have and make a plaster or sand mold and make a couple out of fiber glass and coat with Plastic Dip they make for tool handles.

Interesting suggestion. I spoke with a body shop guy a few weeks back about using bondo to repair mine. He told me it would never hold up.

However this week I emailed a person who was considering fabricating some out of metal and perhaps selling them on the forum and other places. I said that I would order a set if decides to make them.

If I was skilled at making fiber glass molds, I would consider your idea. Thanks.

I wonder if anyone has tried cutting the end's off of some other make/model bumper. It seems like something should work/fit.

This fix/repair is quite deceiving. It looks it should not be that hard to come up with a simple repair for these black ends, but it is quite the contrary; needless to say a complex fix/problem.

I'd like to have someone fab some out of metal but I suspect it would be rather spendy.

I found a fab shop that can build me new end caps out of steel that will look pretty close to the original polyethylene/plastic ones. I am planning late fall to do the project. I figure it is better to go with a quality job that will last and look professional. The Enforcer bumper with winch is a nice set up and if properly restored and kept up should be long-lasting value option for my F350 PSD.
