Frame crossmembers

Hey guys, here in maine the winters are pretty brutal, so I just got an inspection on my truck and decided to pull the bed off and clean and paint everything up.

I noticed that a few of cross members should probably be replaced, they are getting thin in a few spots.

I googled around a little bit and was only able to find (go to a junk yard or get a new truck).

I could go to a junk yard, but I figured I would ask here, maybe there is somewhere to buy them. And I dont think its worth retiring the truck over consider the cab is immaculate, no rust at all and has never been repaired.

the frame rails look great some paint still on them, zero pitting of flaking. Its just these frame crossmemebers.

I was thinking about just running some nice pieces of Ibeam across, the stock ones seem a little flimsy anyway maybe beef things up a little.

thanks guys!

Just use some square tubing the close to the same size as your rotted out ones... Did that on my toyota years ago and they are still as good as new... For a little extra rust protection i capped the ends of the tubing and welded shut
