How to: SD Fogs in stock bumper

ok guys as requested i'm making a quick how to,

price list:
-smoked projector SD fog lights on ebay from p.s.team $68 shipped
-smoked cab lights on ebay from p.s.team $46 shipped
-smoked h/l's on ebay from IpexMotoring $130 shipped
-55w 10k hi/lo beam hids for h/l's from ddmtuning $60 shipped
-35w 10k lo beam only hids for f/l's from ddmtuning $30 shipped

overall install took about 2 hrs, i took my time and had to make two trips to Royal king for varying length 3/8" bolts

the fogs lights are projector fog lights with smoked lenses with halos

first you need to remove the four bolts that hold the bumper on located inside the frame rails at the front

then you will need to trim the tabs off the top and cut about half an inch off the bottom tab

just to clarify why you need to trim, the brackets clearly don't fit
*note the bumper is upside-down, the two tabs should be installed pointing up, also the word "up" with an arrow is pressed in to the plastic

here are the fogs mounted with the brackets mounted on the outside like the pic above

the projectors, since they have a cutoff at the top they can't be mounted deep in the bumper so i used a lot of 3/4" washers to shim the fog lights closer to the edge of the bumper

here it is with the lights shimmed out now, it pushed the lights roughly an inch and a half forward, the reason why i did this, the fog lights for best visibility need to mounted as far forward as in the bumper as possible

here is what it should look like from the back
*note these are the factory holes, and i just drilled through the plastic and wiggled a bolt threw

and here they are installed

just a quick before and after because i can

before

after

with 55w Bi-Xenon h/l's and 35w single xenon fog lights

I'm thinkin about adding another pair since there is enough room in the holes in the bumper, however the bumper brackets need to be notched to clear the projector housing, if i go this route (later, rather than sooner) i'll update as necessary

enjoy guys,
Andy

I like that. Might need to add that to mine. centurion package came with fog lights but they looked ugly so I took them out.

They look like they are pointing upwards in the bumper. Is there any adjustment in the light itself or does it have to be done with the bracket.

they were in some pics b/c i hadn't tightened them down yet, but you can adjust the projector itself so its all good and also add shims (washers) to the bracket to adjust it as well
for example you can take some shims out of the bottom and add them to the top etc, you can also bend the bumper a lil bit too

Were the aftermarket cab lights a direct replacement for the factory ones?
