Best Place to get Body Parts??

Well the good weather is apon us and its time to do some body work to my truck. Im going to need a radiator support ,2 front fenders and maybe a hood. Has anybody used fiberglass racing fenders and hood? where do u guys like to get ur fenders and other body stuff? lmc truck, or junkyards or craiges list?? Id like to find a good priced source with good parts.

they dont make obs diesel radiator supports anymore so youll have to find one from a junk yard or patch yours up. i usually go to the junk yard or lmc truck for other body parts

You can buy the diesel radiator support from Ford, just looked it up- $782.85.

National Parts Depot or Bronco Graveyard are other places to get body parts. I was being cheap and bought an aftermarket tailgate for my truck and it is a POS. You can push down in the middle of it and bow it. My friend who does autobody work said you can get different grades of aftermarket parts(thickness), just depends on your budget. I now wish I would have gotten a better one or OEM one. Fenders and hoods may be different, but just my experience with an aftermarket tailgate.

i would look at your local auto body supply store/shop. ive found that their prices are normally about the same at lmc and no shipping to pay. and yes there are different grades on all body parts the economy ones might need a little tweeking or shimming to get them to fit perfect and the oem match ones are gauranteed to fit right with no tweeking or shimming needed

hmmm, my friend was trying to find one for his and he couldnt find it and the dealership said they were discontinued.

It is listed on fordparts.com. Thats what I was going off of. Maybe the website isn't up to date?

When i was looking for a rad support the only dealer that had one was 7 hrs. away and didnt even list a price. For body parts i go to bronco graveyard but i work 2 buildings down from them
