Restoring the Powerstroke

Well i finally got around to restroring my powerstroke that the ny salt had eaten alive. Started like this.

i then took the truck into my high school auto collision class and we pulled the box.

The frame was real bad so i went to town and started grinding it.. i used a needle scaper to get the big chunky rust it worked awesome.

But before i did that i pulled the whole front clip.

lookin good on the tear down, hopefully its nothing to crazy on rust issues tho

The only problem so far was the radiator support was pretty rusty.. so we patched it with sheetmetall.

Well, we did more rust work to the frame. Its cleaning up nicely i think. I think we took 14 pounds of rust off lol that picture does not do justice to how much rust actually came off. My new fenders came in today

And the biggest thing was that we got the hood primed.. This is all in about 12 hours of work. So were making pretty good time i think. Let me know what you guys think..or anything i should pick up while everythings apart!
