Is 92+ cab the same as 91 and older?

I want to put a lund visor on my 96 F250. I found one on a 87, just curious if it will fit.

So if you had a rusted out 97 cab with good interior you could swap interior into a 1990 cab and put back on tue 97?

The cabs from 1980 to 1997 are all the same for the f250+ and to 1996 on the f150s

Just like the Cabs from 1999 to 2011+ are the same on the f250+

That isn't 100% true.

The '80-'97 cabs are the same on the exterior. The interior there are differences because of the differences in the way the dash, panels, and trim mount to the cab. The holes are not there in the earlier cabs to match the later cabs and vice verse.

I was speaking about the exterior only, meaning the visor would fit all years.

Interiors changed a lot from 1980 to 1996-7. Air bags were invented, pickup truck crash testing came to be, the interiors other than being the same shape aren't the same almost from year to year...

Ah, didn't realize you were meaning exterior only.

The F-250 and F-350 never had air bags until the early '99s came about.

Yup, and they were only standard on the Drivers side at that time and thats only because it became law im sure. Mine doesn't have the optional passenger side one. Kinda wish it didn't have a drivers side one to be honest.

I forget when they became law for them to be standard for the drivers side in cars, but it was many years before that. I want to say 90-91?

I've never had a truck that had a working air bag, my 95 f150 my dad broke the steering box and decided it would be a good idea to spin the wheel as fast as he could, air bag light been blinking ever since. And my heavy duty 97's obviously never had em, nor my old 67 f100. But your lund visor will fit with no issues. Other than having to put holes in your roof

Yours doesn't have the passenger side airbag because you have second row seating. I thought the extra cabs had them, but maybe that was another late 99 thing.
