Shackle Flip

Has anyone ever done a Shackle flip on a 1996 F 350 ? What type of lift did you get afterwards and what size tires where you able to use afterwards ?

Thanks

Definitely been done. Might even be a writeup in the mod section. Supposedly it gives 2-3" to fix rear-end sag. Not sure on tire size though!

Keep in mind that doing a shackle flip will move the axle forward about .5"!

Hey Cary

If Possible I want to do a 6 inch suspension and then the shackle flip on top of that for I am hoping about 8-9 inches of lift. I want to put 42 or 44 inch Iroks as well if they fit.

Shackle flip is 4.5" and as Trevor said will shift the axle forward. Gona need lots more than 8-9" of lift for those tires unless you are using std lift springs that won't move at all. Or cut out flares..
