Shackle Flip
Has anyone ever done a Shackle flip on a 1996 F 350 ? What type of lift did you get afterwards and what size tires where you able to use afterwards ?
Thanks |

Definitely been done. Might even be a writeup in the mod section. Supposedly it gives 2-3" to fix rear-end sag. Not sure on tire size though!

Keep in mind that doing a shackle flip will move the axle forward about .5"!

Hey Cary
If Possible I want to do a 6 inch suspension and then the shackle flip on top of that for I am hoping about 8-9 inches of lift. I want to put 42 or 44 inch Iroks as well if they fit. |

Shackle flip is 4.5" and as Trevor said will shift the axle forward. Gona need lots more than 8-9" of lift for those tires unless you are using std lift springs that won't move at all. Or cut out flares..
