Auxillary fuel tank

Wanting to install an auxillary fuel tank but dont know exactly how to do it. Its on my 1994.5 psd How would you run the hose to an oem tank?

you should be able to get a kit and that comes with the installation instructions

the only kits that i have seen have been for 99 and newer. Thought about installing an electric shut off valve on the aux tank and drilling into my filler spout and running it that way. Any suggestions??

I had ordered an auxilary tank through northern tool and they sent me a kit, its kinda like the setup your describing. except it came with a manual shutoff valve... i tell ya what, i never hooked it up personally, i just kept thinking if something comes loose it can get real messy.
I just got a pump, a hose and nozzle and now i can just fuel anything, but my pump does not like the extreme cold.
I don't have any other suggestions for you tho, sorry. hope i helped you a bit
