Paint grill?

Hey guys the chrome is starting to peel off my grill so im thinking of painting it flat black. So how can i take the chrome off easily to paint it?

i sanded mine down and painted it with krylon fusion paint for plastics

I sanded down the flaky peices to bare and put plastic primer on, them 3 coats of flat black, turned out real sick

See, I didn't even know there was such a thing as plastic primer. Thanks for the info. Maybe I'm the only one, but because I have an OBS, I don't spend a lot of time on the other parts of the board, looking for info or tech, so I'm glad that question was asked here.
