biggest tires i can fit?

ok guys this is my first post. I recently acquired a 1996 F-250 4x2. The time has come for some new tires and I have searched on here but can not find a real clear answer. I want to put 285/75/R16 tires on my truck will they fit without rubbing? I have read that I might have to trim the bumper or put a leveling kit on it. Is anyone running these on their truck with the stock alcoa wheels without any major rubbing issues? Thanks for your help.

I second this, is it possible to run 285/75/R16 tires on a '95 f250 no mods without rubbing?
