Tail gate

My truck has the tailgate with the big insert in it. Has anybody taken the insert and put in in a tailgate that came without? Anyone have a pic of what teh tailgate looks like with out so i can see what the holes look like. I would just repair and paint the new tailgate but it has alot of surface rust especially in the areas where it says ford and ill never be able to do the body work on it clean enough for teh ford to look good again

I did that to my old 96 it looked sweet. No pics tho sold it 2 years ago.
