F250 Dana 60 conversion?

I've been reading a lot about how to put a Dana 60 in a F-250, I have a 96 F-250 2wd great truck lots of work done to it, clean body as well and low miles. I plan on keeping the truck for a long time and I live by Chicago so winters are some times a challenge. I was wondering if any one out there could answer a few questions for me, Is the frame the same on a 2wd the same as a 4x4 ttb same year?, The frame is a c-channel up front and I've been thinking a reverse shackle kit would be the best way too go, So Id have to box the front frame to make it work? Does anyone have any good detailed pictures of a swap? Any help at all would be great and Im just going to buy a used axle from a similar year F350 and rebuild it.

96 f250 5speed, 6.0 intercooler, ts chip, cold air intake, 3 inch down pipe

I thought all the frames (at least all heavy duty frames) were the same. I'm not sure about the 2wd, but I know all the 4wd have leaf springs and it's a pretty simple swap from what I understand. I haven't looked at a 2wd. Surely they don't have coil springs, do they?

Yea im pricing out a custom housing that will use 60 internals, but I may end up using a axle out of a similar year 350
