Well i was in a similar situation a few months ago. Long story short i ran into a fire extinguisher with my passenger side bed panel .

Anyways the dent was so deep it touched the frame. The scratch was so deep i could see the metal. It was BAD to say the least.

Anyways i took it to a local body shop here and the owner was able to pop it out, repaint it, give me my original gold pinstripe, and a new 4x4 sticker for $1,100. And to be honest the panel looks better than the other side and the other side has never been hit before.

Long story short, are you sure it has to be replaced?

why not find a new bed seems like you could get one for under 1300 and more than likely find one the same color

try your local junkyard, theres plenty of them around here. try to work up a deal, if they can sell one to you for 500 instead of 300 for the scap value then its worth it to them
