My #$*%@ hood latch broke!!!!!

Yup snapped right off under the hood . Anyone have any ideas how to get it open. I was trying to feel around for the latch to release it but my fat hands make it hard.

I don't know if it will work on SD's but I know on rangers, if you have an extention and a socket, you can unbolt the latch right off the core support and open the hood.

That happened on an old bronco I had and I was able to yank on the cable through the grille.

yea you can get it off this way you have to take the bolts holding the latch on to the center beam going up infront of the radiator.
