non-power to power mirrors

was ripping some parts off my old (94) ford to repair my new(er) one and noticed the mirrors on the '94 were were wired. the mirrors were the ones that have a black plastic shell w/a chrome front.

seems if a guy had that style mirrors and wished they were powered, he'd just have to swap in the newer switch and connect the wiring.
not sure if it'd work, but it's a nice thought...

i have been wondering this too, im sure it can be done, these trucks come pre wired for everything
