OBS mirror swap

Is it possible to put a 99 SD mirror on a OBS my friend has a set laying around he will sell to me for $20 so just wondering

that wld be tough to figure out. i'm not gonna say impossible, but if you try it let us know. what type mirrors are on the obs and are the sd mirrors the tow mirrors?

it wouldnt matter on whats already on the obs. the only place that the sd mirrors can go is the little vent winder on the end. and you have to come up with a mount to make it fit. but for $20, ill jump on that.......as long that they are in good condition.

yes they are the tow mirrors, the bigger chrome ones. I like them but I figured it would be cool if I could put the SD mirrors on. I dont think I could make the power parts work though

ive seen a pic of a obs with dodge tow mirrors. not too bad. but wasnt finished with the project.

that would be cool but I like the SD tow mirrors better, I think they look sweet.

I think it would look cool, but you would end up loosing the wing windows to mount them causing a blind spot on the passangers side.

The power mirror wiring is the same, I have a set I want to put on my truck as well. The schematics show that even the wire colors match up. I havent had the door apart yet to see if the connectors are the same, but that shouldnt be hard to splice.
