Dig tip

Has anyone made their own tip? If so how? I was thinking of wrapping some diamond plate around something.

My brother made a 6" on his '01 2wd. He got an old peice of exhaust pipe cut it about 32" long. Slitted it and bent it in 5 places then welded it onto his 4" exhaust.

I had a friend make one using a 8" piece of stack off a Pete that was in there wrecking yard. It looked nice but I dont have pictures of it. He just used reducers to get it down to his 4" pipe.
