Front Bump Stop removal?

Hey - got a 97 F250HD 7.3. I carry a pretty heavy slide-in camper sometimes, so I got the "Timbren" kit - replaces the stock bump stops with HD "rubber springs" that only come into play after 3/4" travel on the rear, supposed to be pretty much always engaging on the front.

BUT - I don't see how to get the front bump stops off. Kit says to undo top of the shock and swing it out - easy enough. But the bump stop itself looks like it's riveted, not bolted??

Anyone ever had to remove these before?
