seems like I only post when $%*$ breaks
Have a 95 f250 auto powerstroke 4x4 went for a drive today, bout 30 miles couple miles from home sitting at a light turned green hit go pedal, nothing happened till about 2k, did it at every other light on the way home, got home popped hood and checked, no fluid, looked under the truck and tranny fluid draining through the bell housing. before I tear it down any ideas on what to look for.
thanks

wohhh wait
what do you mean nothin happened till 2k? does it act like the pedel is bad? or no power like a turbo isnt working? |

So the motor revs but the truck goes no where?

engine revved fine no problems there, but either the convertor or tranny was not engaging

pulled the tranny pan nothin nasty in the fluid, but there was about a quarter inch of mettalic sludge around the magnet, just cleaned it when I did the solenoid pack 10 months/ 5k ago

got the tranny out, torque convertor is still full of fluid, does that mean that it's not the front seal, could be the pump or something else? gonna talk to the company that rebuilt the tranny and torque convertor tommorow, see if they can walk me through anything
