Need trans help bad!!

I've got a 96 E350 that had a bad trans I got an 03 4r100 from a guy and put it in. The problem I'm having is apparently after I filled the TC with fluid we didn't get it seated all the way on the tranny.. It ended up getting driven before we found that out (long story)

I've got the trans out of the van but I can't get the TC off and it won't turn at all. I've been told it needs a TC (obvious) and a new front pump. How do I get the TC off and how hard is a front pump to replace? HELP!!

The pump isn't hard you will need a slide hammer to pull the old one out and then use the bolts to pull it back in. I have no idea how your tc is staying on there, you might have to smack it with a mallet to pop it loose. Hope this helps.

It apparently was wedged got ii off in about 10 mins with a bar and a hammer.
