dumb question of the year.
I am new to all this diesel stuff and i have a 97 f350 manuall tranny.My question is where the he** is the transmission dipstick located??
I have looked everywhere not sure so i had to ask.Be nice now i know it is a dumb question but that is what we are all here for i guess.

I have never had a manual with a dipstick

Manual trans does not have dipstick. You have to take the plug out of the side of the tranny and check it from there. If oil comes out it's full (on a level surface)
