Tranny Suggestions

I need a new trans in my 97 F350 dually with an E4OD, I'm not sure if i want to rebuild my trans i have now,or i found a used recent rebuild for cheap so thats another option, or I got a price for 2000 for a new jasper trans. Just looking for some opinions about the luck you guys have had with E4ODs, or jaspers, maybe other aftermarket one. I dont really have the $$ to go crazy now, but i want something that will take towing, plowing, and maybe more power and i would like this to be in this truck for a while. Thanks

dont skimp on the rebuild. I would take it to a reputable trans shop, and have them build it. Yea, its gonna cost $$$, but it will pay off in the long run. I'd rather pay 1 time for a good trans, than 2 times for a poorly rebuilt one.
