Rebuilt Transmission problems

I blew out my transmission sometime last year and had it fully rebuilt by a tanny shop. They had to rebuild it three times again after that within 2 weeks. For whatever reason the rebuild they did, wouldn't keep. After the 3rd time I never had any problems after that, driving or towing. Well about a month ago I was hauling my trailer and the tranny started slipping pretty bad and my trans temp went from 130 to 180 pretty fast. I pulled over, let it sit for about 10 minutes and had someone come and pick up the trailer. Drove my truck again and it drove perfect. couple weeks after that, I hauled again and the same thing happpened, except my OD light came on.. let my truck sit for a bit, then it drove fine all over again. Last night I was driving to the gym and it started slipping, except if i really babied it, it shifted fine. There was no temp climb or OD light. After the gym it ran fine again. Any ideas? 1997 F250 E40D 4x4
