Reset Flashing OD light, drive or no drive

I had just ordered a 6637 from Riff Raff before my OD light started flashing. I unhooked the batteries tonight to install and the OD light stopped flashing as expected. I have ordered Autoenginuity scanner, should I drive the truck normally untill I get the scanner or just park it?? It ran fine untill the OD light started blinking. My wife told me the light started blinking on her once before and a quick restart fixed it.

I got the same issue on my truck....I replaced the VSS above rear axle and I got my speedo back from bouncing....It needs to be cleaned really good....Other than that, my OD was flashing on the highway causing tranny to bang hard and loss of power...Calle a diesel shop and it will probably need to be rewired....My 95 powerstrokes got 264k...It was well maintained from the DOT so I dont think its a tranny issue especially if on the restart like mine it resets and drives fine.

Pull the code if the trans is shifting hard it has increased the main line pressure due to either the trans was slipping and or the converter was slipping mine did the same thing once in a while it would go back to normal the trans had to be rebuilt
