What mite be causeing this??

Have an issue been trying to figure out, I can be running down freeway with cc set at ~70 and there is a sudden "jerk" not real hard but enough to notice almost like the TC is unlocking then locking back up, its not enough to kick the cruise off but enough to notice, It will also do it when Im towing our big horse trailer (w/out cruise on) it does not do it all the time then sometimes it will do it ~4-5 times in a 40 mile run any ideas? Thanks

Like you said, might be the TC messing up. Check all your brake lights to make sure they work.

All brake lights even the one on cab are good, one of the first things I checked
No it does not do it when changeing lanes just running straight down the road
Its been hard to try and find a "common denomanater" sometimes it does it sometimes it dosnt, all on the same strech of road, sometimes on flats, sometimes of slight hills, sometimes with trailer sometimes w/out trailer, I have a new solinod(sp) pack to go in and just trying to rat hole some more for a JW valve body

What engine?

Diesel? Change the CPS.

Denton, TX

I envy those that know exactly which modification to make and in the most logical of sequences. But not enough to trade for my meanderings and misfires.

1996 F250 crew cab/short bed, 4x4, auto PSD, 6637 air filter, interior grab handles, stainless window vents, remote door locks work with engine running mod.

Does the engine stay running smooth when this happens or does it cut out briefly?
