So I bought my 1997 f250 a few months ago and recently realized that I dont have a flywheel inspection cover. The flywheel is out in the open, I cant believe I missed it but Im having a hard time finding a place that sells them, that will fit. I tried J-C-Rip-me and of course, it said it would fit and it wouldnt fit if Henry Ford himself tried to put it on. Any places that may have them as old new stock? Ford doesnt sell them anymore.

You might need a dealer that actually looks! Tousley Ford Parts still shows it: Flywheel Inspection Cover, Updated

Check the classifieds and part-out threads on this and the other truck forums. There was a semi-heated discussion on one of the forums recently about whether to keep or toss the cover, so there are clearly some fellas who would be happy to unload theirs.

Where is the part out forum?

http://www.powerstroke.org/forum/sal...-members-only/ - could be under "Swap Meet" or "Exterior Parts". Other Ford/diesel forum sites have sections within their Classifieds/Sale sections for part-out announcements.
