E4OD build prep.

Im pretty sure my hunk of junk jaspers on its last leg so I wanna see about building a new trans. Ill be doing it in the shop at work I already got the ok. This is my first time ever soo i have some questions.

First, i assume i have a e4od. Its automatic and has OD. Am i right?

Second, when I go to buy a used e4od can i just get any one? My trucks 4x4.

Third, im looking at a suncoast rebuild kit. Any other good options?

Lastly, i found a triple disc converter for a 4r100, will this also fit mine? The guy says it was made for ambulances, came outta a late 99 psd, its light blue w billet shaft. Claims theres only 800 miles on it and it can hold up to 400hp.

I really appreciate the help guys, im kinda on a budget but i wanna build one that will last.

How did this work out for you, I'm in the same boat, but I have found a 4R100 and am thinking about using it instead of converting an E4OD
