i gotta 97 F250 7.3 PS 4x4, the trans is shot and iv found one a guy has he said will fit my truck. He said it was pulled out of a idi i thought u had to switch the solonoid packs. he says otherwise, that hes positive it will work with no problems and comes with a 90 day warrenty. Im new to owning a ford diesel and the motors Stamped with a International stamp on the motor, BUT the turbo setup is aftermarket Says Garret on the turbo so im not sure if the truck was originally idi and made turbo. So does anyone know if the transission will work? he says itl work from 94-97 but i need some re-assurance before i blow 800$. Any help?
