Cruise control causes slipping code?
A few weeks ago I had the trans go into limp mode with a P1728 (TC slipping). Changed the fluid and cleared the code. Drove it for a week or two then on the way to the beach while using cruise control the trans threw a code again. Cleared it then drove another 150 miles without the cruise and didn;t throw a code.
What in the cruise control could cause this? Does it control TC lockup?
