Transfer case problem....

So previous owner got it rebuilt... and it will go into neutral and 4high, but won't go into 4 low, its a 5sp as well....

On the auto's there is a lockout that prevents going to low without being in neutral. Perhaps that's not setup correctly for your zf5.

So you cant push the lever down to pull it back into LO range? you can do 2 things:
1. Take lever assembly off under truck and lube everything up and get it working.
2. Look at lever assembly under truck and you will see a 'roll pin' thru the shaft. That pin is in there only for the 'push down' feature of the lever, if you cut off the 2 tabs of the pin, it will shift freely without having to push the lever down to get into 4LO

Well just figured I'd let ya'll know my stupidity.... I was a little inebriated.... when my 4lo wasn't "working" the knob was upside down duh..... feel like a retard, figured ya'll would get a laugh out of that
