what to do to beef up trans

i have a e40d out of a 95.ford reman unit.i have blown it again and was wonderin if i could do any tricks or put in any parts to improve shifts and reliability.

buy a bts or john wood or ats transmission and not worry about it anymore

That's about the ultimate beefing that can occur.
Other than that, a better valve body, torque converter, billet input shaft, basically stronger everything. WAY bigger trans cooler. Trans filter. What are you doing to blow them?

If you are not wanting to spend $3k or more you could use a kit such as this Performance rebuild in a Box, E4OD + Direct Powerpack 1995- 4/1997 Transmission Rebuild in a Box Makco Transmission Parts
