what to do to beef up trans

i have a e40d out of a 95.ford reman unit.i have blown it again and was wonderin if i could do any tricks or put in any parts to improve shifts and reliability.

buy a bts or john wood or ats transmission and not worry about it anymore

That's about the ultimate beefing that can occur.
Other than that, a better valve body, torque converter, billet input shaft, basically stronger everything. WAY bigger trans cooler. Trans filter. What are you doing to blow them?
