weak 2-3-od shift
I bought my truck knowing the PO thought it had transmission issues. I found four bare wires on the trans wiring harness(fixed them), replaced tps, cleaned the neutral saftey plug. So, now it's shifting consistantly.....but the only shift that "feels" right is 1-2. The shift from 2-3 and 3-od takes long enough that i end up letting off the thottle(probable 3sec til i let off). Two years ago the trans was rebuilt with "better" clutches(what PO told me). It also got a new Ford valve body. It doesn't give me any codes. WHAT SHOULD I TRY NEXT??? And i'm thinking it's probably an electrical problem, because before i did any repairs it would shift solid at all shift points(every once in a while), but would slip at all shift points most of the time. And it would usually shift way too early before any repairs.

Could it be that what i'm thinking is "not right" is just normal??? I'm thinking about adding a TC manual lockup swith to see if that will "fix" this slow shifting. Anyone else try this???
