Code P1271-P1278 confused tranny....

Alright, been working on this problem with my 95' PSD and have hit a wall on what to do.

First I needed to replace the IDM module, it was full of water. The truck hardly even would start and had no power.

Put a new IDM in and the truck ran like new....well almost.

Here is the deal, i plugged in the IDM started up perfect, idled perfect and shifted threw all the gears prefect. BUT this only lasted for one start up. Next time I drove the truck it started a little rough and idled a little rough BUT still ran decent except for the shifting....it has a mind of its own, 1st & 2nd shift alright 3rd and 4th are rough and the down shifts are all over the place. Anyone have experience with this??? Thanks guys
