OBS Auto Tranny Install??

Ok guys here's my question..... I have a new BTS tranny that I'm ready to install it in my 95 - 7.3 Powerstroke. The supplied hardware ( 6 Bolts ) screw into the BTS supplied torque convertor fine. My problem / question is the same bolts are sloppy in the Flex plate.

The bolts measure 22 /64's . The holes in the Flexplate measure 29/64's. Is this normal?

Thanks,
Deegasman

Yea.. I called BTS & left a message. I was hoping some one might have experienced the same issue.

Thanks for the reply.

I have installed a few myself... You really aren't talking about that much slop, just over 1/16th. Seems like the one i help my buddy install in his truck a few weeks back had that kind of play... BTS is a solid shop, i would highly doubt that they would put out a product that would be defective in workmanship...

I'm sure the torque converter is ok. ( it's new ). I have the motor & tranny out of the truck & I'm not in a big hurry to get back togethger. I just don't what to do it twice.

I was thinking ( but I can't remember ??) when I pulled the tranny the stock converter had studs vrs the threaded holes in the new one. That's one of my issues.

Thanks,
