The best way to bleed it is throw it in the garbage can and buy a pre-bled system for around $45.
I've heard of people being able to do it but it takes a long time. I once attempted it but got fed up after an hour of pumping and decided to buy a new one that is ready to install out of the box. Good luck, let us know if you are able to get it bled. |

Been there done that. After about an hour, we did get it bled (actually "burped" it back up thru the master), but what a PITA. When the hydros went on the other truck, we went with the pre-bled kit; in and out in about 20 minutes.
But $45? Dang-ol'! That's a smokin' deal; I don't remember finding one for less than about $120. |

I bench bled the slave about 6 times and gravity bled the master, put it back together, pumped up the pedal and she was golden. Pretty good for replacing a slave cylinder in a parking lot 200 miles away from my garage lol
