well guys here is my problem.. i need a new transmission .I have a 97 f-350 manuall 5-speed transmission 4wd.Today it blew up on me and i have no idea of a good place to get a reman. tranny.Do any of you guys got some info that could help me out???? thanks

Ohhhh, maybe the dumb-mass flywheel flew the coop and grenaded the case.....

well not sure what all broke but a gentelman that works on these trucks said it is definitely junk. It was driving fine then all of a sudden it sounded like a grenade and dropped into nuetral then acted like it was down shifting untill it stopped.I have no reverse and even when it is in nuetral it actes engaged soooooooo any help on where to get a tranny would be great.
