o/d light flashin. code p1728

i have a 97 f350 with an e4od my over drive light was flashing one day i pulled the code it came up p1728 trans slip. does anyone have more info on this code.

i think mines the same.(well at times my o/d light flashed) my tranns was screwing up i brought it to the shop he pulled the code i think it was a tourqe convertor. he told me to change alll the fluid, even in the tourqe convertor. and clean the conection on the passenger side rear of the trans. its under a cover with 2 blots. you will see it necxt to the down pipe. take it off and clean it he said cuz it could be coroded. mine was then when i clean the green away i saw that 3 prongs broke off in plug. and now i gottta change the solenoid to fix it. hopefully thats the problem

the solenoid pack could do that too. What color is the fluid though? Smell burnt?

the fluid is brown in the trans but red in the cooler. and it does smell burnt
